ONAM 2024

Our KG students celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm, showcasing the rich traditions and culture of Kerala. The event featured a lively drama depicting the mythology behind Onam, along with traditional cultural songs that filled the air with festivity. The children also participated in a vibrant Vallamkali and performed the graceful Thiruvathirakali, celebrating the essence of Kerala’s heritage. It was a joyful occasion that brought the spirit of Onam to life for our little ones.

WORLD POSTAL DAY 2024

Our kindergarten celebrated Postal Day with enthusiasm. Children wrote heartfelt letters to their parents and learned about the postal service through a demonstration. They enjoyed a homemade postbox and watched a postman deliver letters to their classmates. This hands-on experience emphasized the importance of communication. The event fostered creativity and excitement among the children.

GRANDPARENTS DAY 2024

Our kindergarten celebrated Grandparents Day with joy and excitement. The event started with a song about grandparents by the children. Fun games and enacting games brought laughter and strengthened the bond between generations. Grandparents shared stories, passing down wisdom and love to the young hearts. The day concluded with warm memories for all.

WORLD FOOD DAY 2024

Our kindergarten celebrated World Food Day by visiting a local old age home. The children distributed food packets, sharing warmth and care with the residents. To make the day special, the kids performed various cultural programs.This interaction allowed the children to connect meaningfully with the elderly, fostering mutual respect and understanding. The visit not only brought joy to the residents but also taught the children the importance of giving back to the community. It was a heartwarming experience that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

INDEPENDENCE DAY 2024

The Kindergarten celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The event featured speeches in three languages, followed by children dressed as freedom fighters, singing patriotic songs, and performing lively dances. The Principal praised their efforts, encouraging them to learn from our freedom fighters. The celebration instilled a lasting sense of patriotism in the young hearts.

YOGA AND MUSIC DAY 2024

Our kindergarten celebrated International Yoga and Music Day with great delight. The event was designed to promote the physical and mental well-being of our young learners through yoga and to celebrate the universal language of music.The day was a perfect blend of physical activity and artistic expression, highlighting the importance of both in the holistic development of our students. We are proud of our little ones for their enthusiastic participation and for making this day a memorable one

READING DAY 2024

KG Children Celebrate Reading Day with a fun and educational sight words activity. This event aimed to enhance their reading skills and build a strong foundation for their literacy journey. 

FATHERS DAY 2024

Our Kindergarten celebrated Father’s Day with enthusiasm and joy. The day began as parents dropped off their children, kicking off a heartfelt celebration for our wonderful dads. Children gave touching speeches expressing love for their fathers, followed by a craft session where they made “Superhero” badges, symbolizing their dads as superheroes. It was a day filled with love, appreciation, and memorable moments honoring the important role of fathers in our lives.

SPORTS MEET

The sports day wasn’t just about individual performances; it was a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and joy. As the little athletes displayed their talents, the spectators were treated to an enchanting display with the theme “Minions.” The vibrant colors, adorable costumes, and synchronized performances won the hearts of all present, making the sports display a memorable spectacle. Amidst the cheers and laughter, champions emerged from each section, celebrated for their skill, determination, and teamwork. The sports day showcased physical abilities and healthy competition among the young participants.

BOOGIE WOODIES TINYTYROS FEST

Boogie Woogie with Tiny Tyros, the interschool Sports and Cultural Fest was hosted on the 4th of November 2023 at SBOA, Ernakulam. The event had the participation of 22 schools from all around Ernakulam. The inaugural function was graced by the presence of Smt. Sreekumari Ramachandran, a well-known Malayalam novelist, orator and dancer. The valedictory function was presided over by Mr. Manoj Mathasherril, artist and cartoonist. The overall trophy was lifted by As-Shams Pre School, Mattanchery while St. Peters Senior Secondary School won the runners-up trophy.

WORLD FOOD DAY

KG Department observed world food day as an initiative aimed towards bringing up the value of food and the happiness in sharing the  food among the needy people around the children. Children were very enthusiastic, their little hands shared 65 lunch packs for aiding those in need with smile.
We express our sincere gratitude towards the parents for guaranteeing us in this initiative. Sharing you our small effort in promoting food security around the world.

POSTAL DAY

On the occasion of National Postal Day, let us honor and thank the postal industry which has helped the people across the world by keeping them connected. Happy National Postal Day. This day reminds us of the important contribution of postal services in our lives. With out the postal services, the social as well as economic development would not have been possible. We KG Department paid tribute to all the servicemen who are associated with postal services for the wonderful job they have been doing.NO modern technology can leap forward the happiness  they brought in our lives.

GRANDPARENTS DAY

“Grandparents are a little bit parents, a little bit teachers and a little bit best friends” 
Sometimes we forget just how important and special grandparents are… Grandparents and children have a special connection that is proven to both, make grandparents live longer and also make children emotionally resilient. It has been a tradition in SBOA School to celebrate Grandparent’s Day as it gives us an opportunity to treasure that connection and spend some quality, family time together.

Onam Celebration

Onam is a festival celebrated by all the Kerala communities around the world with lots of joy and enthusiasm. This festival is celebrated to welcome King Mahabali. Our KG children celebrated Onam on 24th August. Eveyone actively participated in all the activities with great joy and happiness.
 
 
 
 
 
 


Independence Day

Happy Independence day wishes. From a thought to Instill the importance of our history and this day in the young minds, different programs were organized. Our students participated in all with great enthusiasm.  It was really surprising to see the beautiful efforts of our budding stars.

“Plastic pollution free world is a not a choice but commitment to life- a commitment to the next generation” As part of our independence day celebration our tiny tots and the parents wholeheartedly joined their hands for human chain – a free plastic movement initiative by SBOA public school.

 

Fresher's Day 2023

Our little ones of Pre KG and  LKG were formally welcomed to the SBOA family on 5th June . As children are the prospects for tomorrow, so we all are super excited to groom them to a bright future.The program was filled with entertainment and useful thoughts shared to our little ones. They were made to feel that they are very special and loved by everyone.

Colour Day.

Nature has many colors, which makes the world look beautiful. Colors are indeed the smiles of nature. With this objective the students from PRE KG, LKG, UKG  celebrated “Colors Day” on 21st July 23.
To mark this day special, children performed beautiful programmes, decorated their classes and actively participated in all the activities .They were given opportunity to speak about their favourite color. Everyone enjoyed the colors day celebration.
 
 
 
 
 

Yoga Day

Yoga  has become a global culture with their celebration every year on an international level as international Yoga day  on 21st June. Yoga is not just an exercise for the body but the mind and soul too. Yoga is recognised all over the world for the sole reason being it doesnt only cares one’s physical well being but nurtures emotional ,mental and spiritual connect. Yoga asanas help kids understand how their body works in sync with their breath to get whole system together. This awareness help them respect ,love and take care of their body. Kudos to our natural yogis….

Music Day

International Music day is  on 21st June. Music is known to be the universal language of humanity. It has the power to bring positivity in lives of people. it hold the power to transform emotions in no time. Music helps us in expressing ourselves easily. We celebrated music day to motivate young budding talents to initiate their steps and perform. And they spread love of music around us….. 

Father's Day.

A Father is a blessing to the family. He has arms to lift high, a heart to love , shoulders to support, a hand of blessing to send you out into the world, a warm embrace to lift you from failures and downfalls. God made a Father with a purpose to protect his family and fulfill their dreams. A warm ” Hug ” to our dear dad.
 
Happy Father’s day
